3 hari lepas lappy kesayangan saya telah menamatkan riwayat hidupnya pada jam 7 pagi disebabkan putus urat wayar di dalamnya...

tersangat2 sedih kerana lappy tu dihadiahkan oleh mak saya yang sangat baik hati seperti anaknya ini...( hehe nak cakap saya ni baik hati sebenarnya)

  usia lappy saya tak la tua sangat, baru 3 tahun lebih...tp ajal dia dah sampai, terpaka lah mencari yang baru sebagai pengganti.

bukan curang atau mengkhianati okayy, cuma banyak keje yang perlu disiapkan, nak update ini blog lagi...kalo takde lappy cmne?cmne? 

gelap masa depan ku....(hahaha over pulak,gedikkk ini perempuan)

Star Micronics SM-T300 Mobile Printer for Smartphones

While we all know that a smartphone has plenty of processing firepower to put desktop computers from 15 or more years ago to shame, there is also the question of expanding the functionality of your smartphone. 

What happens when you want to print out a particular page, recipe, document or email from the handset’s internal memory? 

This is where the Star Micronics SM-T300 mobile printer comes in handy, where it can print from a variety of platforms, including an iPad, an iPhone or an Android-powered device. 

The SM-T300 will feature a rubber-type case which is capable of fending off shocks from drops as high as 1.5 meters. 

Not only that, you need not worry about getting it wet, since it is waterproof and dustproof as well, conforming to the IP54 international standard. 

The internal battery of the Star Micronics SM-T300 mobile printer is said to last up to 11 hours, and it can communicate via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connectivity. No idea on pricing though.

The SM-T300 has a rubber-type case that can withstand being dropped from 1.5 meters. It's also waterproof and dustproof, meeting the IP54 international standard. 

"Basically, this product is for printing receipts and delivery slips. The battery lasts up to 11 hours, so you can use this printer for a long time. It communicates with the host device through Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. We offer a special-purpose communication support library for sending data."

The SM-T300 also comes with a magnetic card reader as standard. So it can be used to issue receipts for delivery services, and to bill for simple transactions at events.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 is finally out and, before the hubbub begins to die down, here's a look at the top 10 exciting cool features in the device.

1. Wireless charging

The Galaxy S3 includes wireless charging through a Touchstone-esque device, the charger used for Palm devices. It's a charging pad that uses magnetic resonance, or inductive charging, to re-power the device.

2. Smart Stay

Smart Stay is a simple, yet powerful, feature in the S3 that stops the screen from dimming automatically even when performing a task. If the phone senses a user's hand in front of the screen and detects the user looking at the phone, the screen stays bright.

3. Exynos 4 Quad processor

The S3 was rumored for a long time to be using a quad-core processor, and it is, through Exynos. The processor is clocked at 1.4GHz along with the 1GB of RAM. There's no specific word on what processor will be used for 4G LTE phones in the U.S., but the device supports 3G in international markets.

The processor at 1.4GHz is just under the HTC One X's 1.5GHz processor, while almost double the iPhone 4S' 800MHz.

4. Design

The Samsung Galaxy S3 offers a thin and light form factor despite the 4.8-inch screen, weighing 133 grams, or 4.07 ounces. The iPhone 4S weight 140 grams, or 4.9 ounces.

The 4.8-inch screen is also Super AMOLED HD.

5. S Beam

S Beam functions like the Bump app for iOS and Android, where two phones can be knocked together to share contacts. S Beam works with Wi-Fi Direct and NFC to move files between two S3 devices by tapping the phone together.

6. Ice Cream Sandwich

The Galaxy S3 brings the latest version of Google's operating system to users. Ice Cream Sandwich also brings more consistent design across Android, though the S3 runs the nature-inspired TouchWiz skin, along with APIs that take advantage of larger screen such as the Galaxy S3's 4-8-inch display.

"In the U.S., larger screens are a must-have. Vendors are going larger to differentiate ... We are getting to the point where we are reaching the physical limit before smartphones become more like tablets," Carolina Milanesi - Research VP at Gartner's Consumers Devices team and agenda manager for consumer devices - said to Computerworld.

7. Three storage options, expandable storage

Like the iPhone 4S, the Galaxy S3 offers 16, 32 and 64GB storage capacities. Additionally, microSDXC expandable storage is available - another 64GB of storage that takes the phone up to 128GB.

8. Best Photo

Best Photo is another powerful feature that only takes seconds to complete. After the zero-shutter lag camera takes 20 photos at once, the Best Photo chooses the top eight photos and allows users to select what he or she considers the best.

9. Buddy Share

Samsung looks to have raised the bar of photo-taking in the Samsung Galaxy S3, even post-shoot. Along with the device grouping people together depending on the tags and faces - so multiple people marked as family will be grouped together - and social network information is brought in through facial recognition. Click on the photos takes users to a friend's Facebook Wall, or e-mails can be sent by tapping on the photos.

10. Direct Call

Very simple, but very effective, Direct Call allows users to stop a text mid-message and call the user just by picking up the phone. The S3 calls the user automatically, recognizing the destination of the text.

iPhone or Android

When it comes to smartphones, the two most popular platforms would have to be Apple's iOS for iPhone and Google's Android. Both platforms have their fair share of advantage and disadvantages, as well as different hardware options when it comes to Android.

Being in the tech reporting industry, I carry both with me - an iPhone 4S and a Samsung Galaxy S2. Both devices have their pros and cons and today I am going to tell you my biggest likes and peeves with them in hopes that it will make it easier to decide which direction to go with your smartphone purchase.

iPhone vs Android: which is better for you?

Starting off with apps, the iPhone wins hands down. Not only does it have a bigger selection but because they are developed for a single screen size (3.5-inches) and platform (latest iOS update), the apps appear to be of a higher quality. This is because app developers don't have to make adjustments to be compatible with a wide range of devices like in the case of Android (Samsung Galaxy S2, Motorola DROID X, Android 2.3, Android 4.0, etc).

Keyboard: While the iPhone keyboard is possibly the best stock touchscreen keyboard out there, it doesn't compare to the many options you have on Android. Third party keyboards like Swype and SwiftKey let you choose which type of typing style you are most efficient at. As an added bonus, if you want a physical keyboard, you can opt for an Android smartphone with one (e.g. Samsung Epic 4G).

Display: Comparing it directly with my Samsung Galaxy S2, I can confidently say that it display blacks more better than the back-lit iPhone 4S. This makes the multimedia experience look that much more richer. But at the same time, the iPhone 4S displays whites better than the Samsung Galaxy S2 which make reading on it more comfortable.

Camera: The iPhone 4S has arguably the best camera on a smartphone in my opinion. With zero adjustments to the settings, the iPhone 4S takes more perfect shots than the Samsung Galaxy S2 in my time with both devices. In other words, if you don't want to have to fiddle with settings or look for the best lighting angle, the iPhone 4S is a safer bet over other 8-megapixel Android smartphone options out there (e.g. Samsung Galaxy S2, Galaxy Note, Motorola DROID RAZR).

Now there are a couple of peeves I have with Apple regarding the iPhone. Their Gmail app is disappointing when compared to Android, there is no LTE, access to the radio toggles require you to go through a couple of screens (you can access toggles for Bluetooth, WiFi, 3G, GPS, Brightness all from widgets on Android), and there is lack of a good free turn-by-turn navigation app. So keep that in mind.

Lastly, we get to the accessories. You will immediately find more accessories catered to the iPhone 4S  and its dock connector than Android. When it comes to 3rd party cases, sound docks and even vehicles (e.g. Kia Sorento, BMW 3-series), more third-party manufacturers are focused on Apple than Android devices.

When all is said and done, both the iPhone and my Samsung www.motoringcrunch.com Galaxy S2 are more than capable of carrying out smartphone duties and you can't go wrong with either. On a side note, if you decide to go with Android make sure to pick one of the many popular devices (e.g. Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Motorola DROID RAZR, HTC One X, etc). It will increase your odds of getting the next big update (if not direct from Google then by way of custom ROM developers).

when it comes to internet services, i think celcom by far is the best. one thing, the network coverage is the widest in Malaysia, and then the network quality also is very good which means if you want to make video calls, surfing, email-ing will more easy.
